Manitobans have opened their doors to almost a hundred dogs rescued from a puppy farm in Warren this week.

Volunteers who are working with the surrendered dogs say over 400 people have offered to adopt the animals.

Some of the animals were found with feces matted into their fur, others had fist size tumors, or open wounds. Some dogs were even found with barbed wire around their paws.

Donations are pouring in and the dogs are doing well.

Volunteers say that even though all these dogs will probably be adopted -- there are more dogs at shelters around the city that are still looking for a good home.

They say any donations of food, kennels, or supplies that they don't need, will be given to other shelters in need.
