Winnipeg police say a girl who went missing while walking her dog has been found safe and sound.
Brandy Wells, 12, was last seen walking her dog in West Kildonan at around 9:00 p.m. on Aug. 7. The dog came home, but the girl did not. There were reports that the girl may have spent that night with a friend.
In a release Thursday morning, police thanked the public and the media for their assitance in finding her.
