If you have not filed your tax return yet, you are running out of time.

Midnight tonight, Apr. 30, is the deadline to file your 2008 income tax return.

Workers are lined up at the Canada Revenue Agency building on Stapon Road in Transcona to make it easy to drop off your return.

In this day and age of drive-thru service the tax collectors have gotten into the spirit.

You can also file by mail, by phone, or e-file on the internet.

If you owe the government taxes it is especially important to file on time to avoid a late penalty.

People affected by the flood have been given an extension to file of June 1, 2009, but you do have to let the government know ahead of time.
