It has been nearly a year since a horrific attack on board a packed Greyhound bus in Manitoba.

Twenty-two-year-old Tim McLean was brutally stabbed, then beheaded by another passenger.

CTV News has learned that bus is still in service.

It was reportedly moved to another part of the country and remains in Greyhound's active fleet.

The victim's family says that bus should have been parked permanently.

Earlier this week Vince Li, the man who killed McLean, will remain in the Selkirk Mental Health Centre for at least another year.

Vince Li was found not criminally responsible for the stabbing or beheading.
