Two men who were taken into custody in connection to the Amber McFarland murder investigation have been released.
Amber McFarland was last seen leaving a Portage la Prairie bar last October.
RCMP believe she was murdered and last Wednesday a 40-year-old man was arrested.
On Thursday another Portage la Prairie man, a 39-year-old, was also arrested.
Sources say they were the last two people seen with McFarland.
The men have since been released from RCMP custody.
Police are only allowed to hold individuals for 24-hours without laying charges.
Both men were released without any conditions.
