The owner of a local men's bathhouse where a fatal fire broke out fears his business was targeted, but police are still investigating whether the fire was deliberate or accidental.

A weekend fire at Aquarius Men's Bath on Notre Dame Avenue killed two people. One victim has been identified as 23-year-old Steven Yablonski, a man his friends say was kindhearted and always had a smile on his face.

The bathhouse's owner, Chai, says he knew Yablonski and calls the fire the worst day of his life.

Chai, who asked that only part of his name be used, believes someone may have burned it down. Police say the cause remains under investigation.

Yablonski was a popular drag queen in Winnipeg, known as Kerri O'Kee, who loved music and the stage.

Police say they have an idea who the second victim is but are not releasing his name at this point.
