Officers busted two pot grow ops and seized weed worth more than $900,000.

RCMP executed a search warrant in Elma, about 120 km east of Winnipeg, on Friday and arrested two suspects. About 700 marijuana plants were seized, worth more than $700,000, said RCMP.

Police arrested Man Minh Nguyen, 38, of Winnipeg and Jiebin Deng, 26, of Vancouver face a number of charges, including possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking.

The grow op bust in Elma followed a separate raid of a grow op in the RM of Lac du Bonnet on Sept. 30. Officers seized weed worth more than $200,000. No charges have been laid and officers continue to investigate, said RCMP.
