The Winnipeg Reginal Health Authority says all 12 of its H1N1 flu shot clinics will be closed until Nov. 12.
Officials say many clinics ran out of the regular vaccine Friday but still had shots for pregnant women.
Clinics closed at 4 p.m. Friday. Close to 100,000 vaccinations have been administered this fall.
Manitoba isn't expecting a new shipment of vaccine until Nov. 11 so the WRHA expects clinics will re-open the next day.
Officials also say the Children's Hospital Emergency Department is seeing a jump in patients with more than half showing influenza-like symptoms, including not just H1N1 but other respiratory illnesses.
Wait times may be longer than usual and everyone at the Children's Hospital Emergency Department is being offered a mask to protect against infection, said officials.
The hospital is also asking people staying with a patient to limit numbers to one or two individuals.
