Police have charged two suspects with second-degree murder for the death of a man in St. Theresa Point on Sunday.
RCMP were called about an unconscious male at a residence shortly before 5 a.m. The victim was transported to a local nursing station where he was pronounced deceased, said police. Officers have identified the victim as Roderick Walter Monias, 24, of St. Theresa Point.
An autopsy was scheduled in Winnipeg on Monday.
RCMP have charged Roger Leroy McDougall, 23, and Joseph Cameron Randall McDougall, 21, both of St. Theresa Point, with second-degree murder in connection with the death.
Police continue to investigate the death.
