Starting Dec. 1 and running until Dec. 24, the Santa Bus will be on the road collecting cash donations for the Christmas Cheer Board.

Look for the bus with number 271, which features a larger-than-life image of Santa and his happy elves, said officials.

This week the bus will be on route 11 Portage-Kildonan.

Last year the Santa Bus collected $16,000 for the Cheer Board.

Since it started in 1985, the bus has raised more than $288,000 in donations, said officials.
