Winnipeg police have released an updated sketch on a suspect they believe is responsible for three sexual assaults dating back to June.

On Nov. 21, a 36-year-old woman walking near Hugo Street North and Jessie Avenue around 10:20 a.m. was approached by a male who groped her in the upper body, said police. The suspect made further advances but the victim resisted.

Police believe the same suspect was responsible for groping a 36-year-old woman in the 700 block of Corydon around 1 p.m. on July 29.

On June 11, police say the suspect groped a 19-year-old woman walking near Chancellor Drive and Gull Lake Road.

The suspect is described as a black male, 20 to 30-years-old, five feet 10 inches to six feet (177 cm to 182 cm) in height, weighing approximately 250 pounds (113 kilograms). Police say he has dark eyes, a heavy, large build and is well-groomed.

Officers say the updated sketch released Tuesday is based on new information regarding the suspect.
