Winnipeg police have arrested a second teenage suspect in connection with a fatal stolen Hummer crash that killed a 47-year-old man on Alfred Avenue.

A 17-year-old male, who is a level four auto theft offender, was arrested Wednesday afternoon and faces multiple charges, including manslaughter, criminal negligence causing death and theft over $5,000, said police.

On Dec. 11, a stolen Hummer crashed into a car driven by Zdzislaw Andrzejczak, 47, on Alfred Avenue. Andrzejczak died from injuries sustained in the crash, said police.

Earlier this week, officers arrested and charged an 18-year-old man in connection with the same incident.

Officers continue to investigate the fatal crash.
