A jury has found a 17-year-old guilty of three counts of first-degree murder in connection with a triple homicide on Alexander Avenue in 2008.

The jury reached its decision Wednesday night. The teen was also found guilty of three counts of attempted murder in the case.

Two people went into a house party on Alexander Avenue in March 2008 and started shooting, firing 19 shots in all. Three people were killed and three others were wounded.

Sentencing will take place within the next few months. As a youth, the maximum penalty for first-degree murder is 10 years.
