Winnipeg police are looking for a white male suspect after an officer was struck by a car Saturday morning.
Two traffic officers parked at Dufferin Avenue and Salter Street flagged down a speeding car, but instead of stopping, the vehicle began driving directly towards them, knocking one officer to the ground, police said.
The driver of the stolen vehicle then fled the scene on foot, leaving the car behind, according to police.
The officer was taken to hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
