With the Queen set to arrive in Winnipeg on July 3, Manitobans have been getting ready for her visit.

At The Forks, crews are setting up the Scotiabank Stage. The site will host a concert, featuring the likes of Chantal Kreviazuk and others. Kreviazuk will present the Queen on the stage where people will be able to see her.

Staff members at Restaurant Dubrovnik have been busy preparing for months to serve the Queen. The restaurant was selected to create a Manitoba-produced meal. The restaurant's owner, Milan Bodiroga, wouldn't say what he'll be serving, but is excited to be meeting the Queen for a second time.

The restaurant was chosen to serve the Queen previously in 1984.

Officials said the concert during the Queen's visit at The Forks will start at 3 p.m. and will run to 9 p.m. on July 3. People are advised to get to the site early and gates will open at 2 p.m.

The public can see the Queen at a public walkabout at Government House at around 4:20 p.m., but city officials are recommending people come to The Forks and said it will be the best place to see her.
