Fire crews spent hours fighting a blaze at a plastic sign company in the Fort Garry Industrial Park Thursday morning.

The call for the fire at 1500 Seel Avenue came in just after 3:40 a.m. and crews were on the scene until after 6 a.m. There are no reported injuries.

Officials say extensive damage was done to the interior of the building. On Thursday afternoon, officials said damage to the building is estimated at more than $500,000.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
