A 41-year-old man has been arrested after child abuse images were spotted on a work laptop.
The Winnipeg police child exploitation unit started an investigation after receiving a tip through the website Cybertip.ca.
Information indicated that child abuse images had been spotted on a business laptop.
Officers got a warrant to examine the laptop. A forensic analysis found both child abuse videos and images on the computer, said police.
A 41-year-old male was arrested and charged with accessing child pornography and possessing child pornography.
He has been on a promise to appear in court, said police.
