A suspect has been charged for the death of a 24-year-old man on Winnipeg Ave.
Police said they were called for a report of "family trouble" in the 1400 block of Winnipeg Ave. around 5 a.m. on August 7.
A victim had been assaulted and was located at the scene, said police. He was taken to hospital in critical condition, but died from injuries.
Officers have identified the victim as Nathan Kayseass, 24.
Police have charged Sesar Edgardo Romero, 22, of Winnipeg with second-degree murder.
Officers said the suspect is a stepbrother to the victim.
