A 35-year-old man has been charged for assaulting two officers on Tuesday.
Police were called around 9:45 a.m. to a building in the 100 block of Provencher Boulevard regarding a wanted man.
Officers tried to put the man in a cruiser car, but he resisted and assaulted them, said police. Both officers needed medical treatment afterwards.
Additional officers were dispatched and the suspect was brought under control.
John Oligide Olarewaju, 35, has been charged with two counts of assaulting a peace officer and resisting a peace officer.
