Police are investigating two stabbings that occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Officers were called to the 300 block of King Edward Street at about 2 a.m., where they found a 24-year-old man who had been stabbed to the upper body and extremity. He was taken to hospital in stable condition, police said.
At about 2:30 a.m., officers began to investigate another stabbing incident, which they believe took place in the area of Andrews Street and Pritchard Avenue.
The adult victim was taken to hospital for upper body injuries and, as of Saturday morning, was listed in serious condition, police said.
Police have not indicated that the stabbings are related.
