At about 3:50 a.m. on Saturday, a car driven by a 25-year-old man collided with a police cruiser that was parked on Logan Avenue near Reitta Street.
The cruiser car sustained a significant amount of damage and was pushed forward approximately 30 yards from where it was parked, police said.
Two male officers were taken to hospital with minor injuries and later released.
The driver appeared to be intoxicated and was arrested at the scene, officers said.
He is facing two charges of impaired driving causing bodily harm.
