A 36-year-old woman was looking for a parking spot on Magnus Avenue near Powers Street on Friday afternoon when three young men, one of whom was armed with a gun, blocked her path, police said.

One of the suspects pointed the gun in her direction, while a second suspect threw a can of cola at her vehicle and the third stood by while holding a shovel, police said.

The victim eventually drove forward and the youths stepped out of the way. No shots were fired and the victim was not injured.

Police are investigating the incident.

The suspect who was carrying a gun is described as male, 14- to 16-years old, five feet six inches (168 centimeters) in height with a slim build. He was wearing a black toque, a black hooded sweatshirt, baggy black pants and black shoes, with a black handkerchief covering the lower part of his face.

The second suspect is also described as 14- to 16-years old, five feet six inches (168 centimeters) in height with a slim build. He was also wearing a black toque, a black hooded sweatshirt, baggy black pants and black shoes, with a black handkerchief covering the lower part of his face.

The third suspect is described as Aboriginal in appearance, 14- to 16-years old, five feet six inches (168 centimeters) in height with a slim build. He was wearing a dark handkerchief, a black baseball cap, white hooded sweatshirt under a red and white jacket with black piping, and white pants.
