Cantaloupes sold from a South Osborne Safeway are being recalled due to possible salmonella contamination.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is warning the public not to consume the cantaloupes, which were sold from Canada Safeway Limited at 655 Osborne Street on December 5, 2010.

The affected cantaloupes were sold unwrapped, with no lot code sticker, UPC or product name on the individual melons.

There have been no related illnesses reported.
