Winnipeg Sam Katz was in a minor car crash on Friday morning while he was on his way to a budget meeting.
Katz suffered minor injuries in the two-vehicle crash at York Avenue and Carlton Street.
After the budget meeting, Katz said he was going to the hospital to have his ribs X-rayed.
"I'm in pain and I can only tell you that when I sneezed the pain was a lot more so I'm going to check and see how my ribs are," Katz said.
The executive policy committee met to discuss the Preliminary 2011 Annual Capital Budget and the 2012 to 2016 Five-Year Capital Forecast.
