The former reputed leader of the Indian Posse street gang has been sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole for 10 years.
Tyson Kane Roulette pleaded guilty to manslaughter and also received 12 years for attempted murder.
In September 2007, Anthony Woodhouse was gunned down in front of his Boyd Avenue home.
Police said Woodhouse was the victim of mistaken identity when he was killed.
Woodhouse had no gang affiliations but lived across the street from one of Roulette's gang rivals.
The judge has also imposed a lifetime firearm ban for Roulette and has ordered him to submit a sample of his DNA.
