Firefighters were called to The Forks Wednesday night around 11:30 p.m.

Crews arrived around 11:40 p.m. to find hay bales at a warming hut on fire, south of the skate park.

The hut, titled "Hayven," burned down in the fire, said officials with The Forks, who believe the blaze was deliberately set.

The exact cause of the blaze remains under investigation by the arson strike force.

Officials with The Forks say they're very disappointed by the damage and will be contacting the hut's creator in New York today.

No one was injured in the incident.

Damage is pegged at $5,000, say fire officials.

Beyond the monetary value, The Forks says the hut was a work of art and there currently are no plans to rebuild it.

Police say witnesses saw an individual dressed in black fleeing from the area.
