Officers are treating the death of a man on Little Grand Rapids First Nation as a homicide, said RCMP. The man's son has been arrested.
On Feb. 28, officers were called regarding a disturbance on the First Nation, around 270 kilometres northeast of Winnipeg, around 11:00 p.m. A deceased male was found in a residence.
Officers identified the victim as John Moar, 46.
The victim's son, Trevor John Owens, 18, has been charged with second-degree murder, said RCMP.
Officers from multiple units continue to investigate.
