The City of Winnipeg has announced a number of temporary lane closures and no parking zones put into place around the Corydon Avenue area this weekend, due to the filming of a movie.

Filming of "Beethoven Saves Christmas" will be underway in the area, beginning Friday afternoon.

City officials released the following information:

Date/Time: Thursday, March 10 at 7:00 p.m. to Saturday, March 12 at 2:00 a.m. Location/Street: No parking in the north curb lane of McMillan Avenue, between Cockburn Street and Hugo Street.

Date/Time: Friday, March 11 at 9:00 a.m. to Saturday, March 12 at 2:00 a.m. Location/Street: Closure of curb lanes of Hugo Street, between McMillan Avenue and Jessie Avenue.

Date/Time: Friday, March 11 at 9:00 a.m. to Saturday, March 12 at 2:00 a.m. Location/Street: No parking on the north side of Jessie Avenue, between Daly Street North and Arbuthnot Street.

Date/Time: Friday, March 11 at 9:00 a.m. to Saturday, March 12 at 2:00 a.m. Location/Street: No parking in both curb lanes of Corydon Avenue, between Hugo Street North and Cockburn Street North.

Date/Time: Friday, March 11 at 4:00 p.m. to Saturday, March 12 at 2:00 a.m. Location/Street: No parking in both curb lanes of Corydon Avenue, between Arbuthnot Street and Daly Street North.

Date/Time: Friday, March 11 at 4:00 p.m. to Saturday, March 12 at 2:00 a.m. Location/Street: No parking on both sides of Daly Street North, between Corydon Avenue and Jessie Avenue. No parking on both sides of Arbuthnot Street, between Corydon Avenue and Jessie Avenue.

Intermittent Traffic Control will be conducted by Winnipeg Police Service Officers:

Date/Time: Friday, March 11 at 9:00 a.m. to Saturday, March 12 at 2:00 a.m.

Location/Street: Corydon Avenue between Arbuthnot Street and Daly Street North.

To allow for Winnipeg Transit re-routes and safe movement of buses, the following parking arrangements have been granted:

Date/Time: Friday, March 11 at 4:00 p.m. to Saturday, March 12 at 2:00 a.m.  Location/Street: No parking on both sides of Daly Street North, between Corydon Avenue and Wellington Crescent. No parking on both sides of Lilac Street, between Corydon Avenue and the first public lane north of Corydon Avenue.
