Fire ripped through an unoccupied home on Redwood Avenue Saturday night, causing $150,000 in damage as it tore through the walls and ceilings.

Fire crews say the blaze started around 10 P.M. in the 300-block of Redwood Avenue. It is believed the fire started in the basement before jumping through the first floor and into the attic.

Fire officials say there was extensive smoke and water damage throughout the building but there were no injuries.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
