Three victims were rushed to hospital in critical condition following a pair of stabbings in Winnipeg.

Around 10 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to a residence in the 500 block of College Avenue for a report of two men that had been stabbed.

Officers found a 17-year-old man and a 20-year-old man suffering from stab wounds to the upper body.

Both were sent to hospital in critical condition, but were later upgraded to stable. Two male youths are in police custody.

Shortly after 12 a.m. Thursday, police were called to the 800 block of Alverstone Street for a report of a male that had been stabbed.

The man was later located with help from the canine unit in the 1000 block of Notre Dame Avenue. Paramedics rushed the victim to hospital in critical condition and he was later upgraded to critical –stable condition, said police.

A 54-year-old male is in police custody.
