Saturday marks a new month and a new minimum wage in Manitoba.
Employers in the province will now have to pay their employees at least $10 per hour. That's an increase of 50 cents.
The last increase was Oct. 1, 2010 when it also went up by 50 cents to $9.50.
The province said this increase puts Manitoba's minimum wage level slightly avove the average Canadian minimum wage.
