A 17-year-old is under arrest after he stabbed a 23-year-old. Police say the 23-year-old was trying to stop an intoxicated teen from stabbing the tires of a cab.
The suspect stabbed the victim and fled the area of Ellice Avenue and Beverley Street. Winnipeg police found the 17-year-old in the 500 block of Beverley.
The suspect is facing a number of charges including assault with a weapon. He has been detained at the Manitoba Youth Centre.
