Drivers in the Charleswood area got some rude directions Sunday.

Winnipeg police and Manitoba Public Insurance (MPI) are looking into vandalized street signs meant to warn drivers of deer.

One of the boards on Roblin Boulevard by Berkley Street read, "Slow the (expletive) down".

Another sign near Moray Street Bridge on Roblin, welcomed back the Jets with a crude message.

Brian Smiley, spokesperson for MPI says he doesn't know how it happened but that the mobile signs make it possible to change messages on location. MPI is looking into the vandalism and Smiley said the writing will be corrected as soon as possible.
