Police were called to a gas station in the 200 block of Notre Dame Avenue on November 11 after a poppy donation was stolen.

Officers say a suspect entered the gas station around 2 p.m. and took the donation box with money.

Police located the suspect in the area and arrested him. The money was recovered. The suspect also had cocaine on him, say police. 

Christopher Lee Unger, 27, is facing a number of charges including theft under $5,000.

He remains in police custody.
