Christmas has come early for hockey fans in Winnipeg. The Winnipeg Jets' specialty licence plates are available at all Autopac centers Monday. All regular passenger vehicles are eligible to purchase the plates for $70.00. Non-passenger vehicles, including commercial trucks, motorcycles and mopeds, do not qualify.
Those who already possess a Winnipeg Blue Bombers' specialty licence plate can still acquire a Jets' plate. However, the plate on the back of the vehicle must match the plate on the front. Therefore, having one of each is not an option.
