Police are looking for suspects after pepper spray was discharged into crowds of Boxing Day shoppers at Polo Park shopping centre.
Police, fire and paramedic crews responded to the mall around 2:30 p.m. Monday.
Many shoppers who were having trouble breathing left the mall, as the fire department attempted to clear some of the spray from the building.
No more than four were sent to hospital as a precautionary measure, said police, and no serious injuries were reported.
Police are still looking for two suspects ran away on foot. Crews were still on-scene around 3:30 p.m.
