Winnipeg police are continuing their investigation into the shooting death of a Winnipeg man Saturday.
A man and a woman were shot in a house in the 600 block of Selkirk Avenue around 5:00 a.m, police say.
Michael Warren Sinclair, 46, was taken to hospital in critical condition where he later died, according to officers. A 30-year-old woman was also taken to hospital, she was in stable condition.
Sinclair's death marks the 39th homicide in Winnipeg in 2011. That sets a new record for the number of homicides in one year in the city.
