Around 10:45 a.m. Sunday a man drove his vehicle into a wall of St. Boniface Hospital.
Fire crews put out flames that started in the engine as a result of the collision with the hospital's old education building on Tache Avenue.
A man was taken to hospital with unknown injuries. The incident is under investigation.
