Workplace Safety and Health is looking into an incident where an injury was reported at a steel mill in Selkirk on Friday around 5:30 a.m..
RCMP confirmed one person suffered burns at the Gerdau steel mill. The worker was been taken to hospital.
A company spokesperson tells CTV News a contractor was working at the mill when there was a steam explosion.
The spokesperson also said the injuries are considered minor.
