Police say a woman was carjacked outside of St. Vital Shopping Centre Friday evening around 5:00 p.m.
The 27-year-old woman had just parked and was getting out of her Volkswagen Rabbit when she was approached from behind by a male with a handgun demanding her keys, say police. The victim complied and then ran into the mall.
The suspect is described as a 16 to 17 year old boy, white, wearing a white ski jacket and dark coloured toque.
The stolen vehicle is a 2009 white VW Rabbit with Manitoba plate ERK 959.
