RCMP said a man has been charged for a vehicle collision that claimed the life of 19-year-old person on Skownan First Nation last fall.

Officers and emergency crews were called to the crash on PR 276 on Oct. 30 shortly before 8 p.m.

A car had left the road and hit a tree.

A 19-year-old man was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead, said RCMP.

On Feb. 7, RCMP said Donavan Josef Maud, 21, of Skownan First Nation has been charged with impaired driving of a motor vehicle causing death and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death.
