Police say a 32-year-old man was taken to hospital early Saturday morning in unstable condition after being stabbed.
The incident happened at around 1:30 a.m. in an apartment suite in the area of Balmoral Street and Ellice Avenue.
Officers say the victim was stabbed by a 42-year-old man after they started fighting.
The 42-year-old is in custody and charges are expected to be laid, say police.
The investigation is ongoing.
