Officers have issued a provincial offence notice against a 65-year-old driver following a collision Wednesday that sent a vehicle into the Mitchell Fabrics store in Winnipeg.

Police said Thursday an investigation showed a Cadillac Seville was headed northbound on Main Street when it's alleged to have entered the intersection at a red light, hitting a Honda Accord travelling eastbound on Logan Avenue.

One of the vehicles then crashed into the store. Two pedestrians, age 49 and 51, were injured and taken to hospital. The 51-year-old man was originally sent in unstable condition but has since been upgraded to stable.

The drivers of both vehicles, age 65 and 75, were also taken to hospital for treatment.
