RCMP are investigating after a body was found just south of Beaconia Beach Thursday.
Just after 4 p.m. Selkirk RCMP officers got a call about a man's body on the shore of Lake Winnipeg in the RM of St. Clements.
Officers had to use ATVs to get to the body. After an initial investigation and an autopsy RCMP found the body belonged to a 22-year-old man from Winnipeg who was reported missing in fall of 2011.
RCMP said foul play is not suspected in the man's death, and his name will not be released.
