CAA Manitoba said an early tally of results shows voters selected St. James Street in Winnipeg as the worst road in Manitoba.

CAA held a four-campaign during which voters could offer up their selections for the worst roads in the province.

Close to 3,500 people voted, with 484 different roads across the province receiving votes.

While votes were still being tallied April 25, CAA said St. James Street was well ahead in results, receiving 455 votes.

CAA said a final report is slated to be made public at the start of next week. It will also be presented to government.
