A handful of people parked in Transcona had to make changes to their Mother's Day plans after a truck plowed into their vehicles.

Around 11 a.m. a GMC truck plowed into five parked cars in the 1100 block of Kildare Avenue.

Fire crews were on scene but luckily no one was hurt in the crash.

The male driver of the truck walked away from the accident without injury.

Neighbours reported hearing a loud noise at the time of the crash and shortly after a car could be seen pushed onto the grass near the street.

One man who asked not to be named said he would have to make changes to his Mother's Day plans because his car was so badly damaged.
