Southern Manitoba will see mainly sunny skies and mild temperatures Wednesday. Winnipeg's high is -3. It will be mainly sunny for most of the northern half of the province, too. A mild high of -6 in Flin Flon, The Pas, Norway House and Island Lake. Temperatures will drop, though, across the far north from Lynn Lake to Gillam and Churchill. Gillam's wind chill will feel like -35 while Churchill's will feel like -49. Tonight will start out with clear skies across the south then we'll see increasing cloudiness overnight. Winnipeg's overnight low is -13. Most of northern Manitoba will be clear and cold tonight with temperatures in the
-30s. Churchill will see flurries, blowing snow, northwest winds gusting up to 60 km/hr and a wind chill of -48. Temperatures will drop during the day Thursday in southern Manitoba will strong wind chill values. The temperature will drop to -20 by tomorrow afternoon in Winnipeg. The wind chill will feel like -37. Relief is in sight by early next week.
