Clouds over most of southern Manitoba should clear out by late Tuesday afternoon including in Winnipeg. Our forecast high is 18 C. The rest of the Red River Valley and the southeast will be windy, too. North winds in the Morden/Winkler region this afternoon will be 20 gusting to 40 km/hr and stronger around Sprague at 30 gusting to 50 km/hr. Daytime highs across the south range from 11 C in Berens River to 20 C in Brandon and Swan River. Northwest Manitoba and the central region of the north will see mix of sun and cloud today. The northeast will be cloudy with periods of snow or drizzle expected in Churchill. Forecast highs across the north range from 2 C in Churchill to 16 C in Flin Flon. Ahead tonight, southwestern Manitoba will see partial cloud cover while skies will be mainly clear across the southeast with light winds into this evening. Winnipeg's forecast overnight low is 5 C. Most of the north will see partly cloudy skies tonight. There's a 60 per cent chance light snow or drizzle continuing tonight in Churchill. The mercury will start to climb on Wednesday in Winnipeg with a forecast high of 23 C with increasing cloudiness in the afternoon. We are expecting even warmer temperatures as the long weekend approaches.
